private coaching 101
For owners who want to be directly involved in the training process.
Private 1:1 Coaching is for owners who prefer to train alongside their dog. Learning to train your dog is beneficial because it builds a stronger relationship through mutual trust, respect and clear communication. You will also become a capable handler who can guide your dog through real-world scenarios.
Private coaching is where we work together one-on-one. I teach you the skills, handling and communication you need to work with your dog, and you do more of the hands-on training between sessions.
THIS IS A GOOD FIT IF:
- You enjoy learning and training your own dog
- You want to improve your handling and communication skills
- You want to be involved in the training process
- You have time to practice between sessions
- You want professional guidance while doing most of the day-to-day work yourself
Training does not stop because the foundational work is in place.
Once we have built that foundation, you can continue monthly with the Private 1:1 Coaching Pass.
We can use those sessions to keep building skills, work through new challenges, take training into more difficult environments and keep progressing as your dog develops.

We can figure that out during the free consultation.
Your foundational program will be Puppy 101 or Canine Charm School, depending on your dog’s age and needs.
Private coaching can be scheduled at your residence, a dog friendly location, or virtually for added convenience.
You will receive simple written homework after each lesson. Additionally, I will provide you with ongoing support through text and email.
The cost depends on the level of support you need. One 1-hour private coaching a week is $500/month. Two 45-minute private coaching a week is $800/month.
